Qualification

OVERVIEW

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others.

This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability. The job roles that relate to this qualification may also include RTO Manager and RTO Director.

Who can Enrol?

This program is designed for applicants seeking to develop advanced skills and knowledge in organisational learning and capability development through the attainment of a Graduate Diploma qualification.

  • Typical learners may include:
    Individuals who hold an overseas bachelor’s degree or higher qualification and wish to familiarise themselves with Australian management and learning practices.
  • Professionals with experience in management or leadership roles who are seeking to enhance and apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in organisational learning.
  • Applicants aiming to progress to further study, such as entry into an Australian master’s program in management, leadership, or arelated discipline.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal prerequisites to enter the CPC50220 Diploma of Building & Construction. However, it is recommended to applicants who have been working in the industry for at least two (2) years. Further, the applicant must meet the following entry requirements:

General course specific requirements

Although this qualification does not specify a mandatory entry pathway, Omni College recommends the following pathways for candidates considering enrolment:

  • Successful completion of an AQF level 5 or 6 qualification – Nationally recognized Diploma/Advanced Diploma/ equivalent*/ higher achieved in the last 5 years.

Or

  • At least twelve months of work experience in a leadership/management or learning management role in the last 5 years.

Note: In the absence of formal English qualifications, Omni College may proffer English Placement Test.

English Language Requirement

Minimum IELTS score of 6.0, PTE score of 47, or other equivalent tests*.

*For English language requirements, please refer to Table 1: English Language Test Scores as specified in the Admissions and Student Selection Policy on the Omni website: http://www.omni.edu.au.

Academic Requirement

This qualification does not have any formal entry requirements. However, Omni College recommends the following pathway: Either: Successful completion of an AQF level 5 or 6 qualification – Nationally recognised Diploma/ Advanced Diploma/ equivalent/ higher achieved in the last 5 years. Or At least twelve months of work experience in a leadership/management or learning management role in the last 5 years.

Age Requirement

All applicants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of applying for admission to the course.

Language, Literacy, Numeracy (LLN) and Digital Literacy test

Applicants will be required to demonstrate their LLN Proficiency and Digital Literacy capabilities &/or complete an LLN and Digital literacy test prior to the commencement of the course as per the Omni College Pre-training & LLN and Digital Literacy Policy & Procedure. Omni College uses the platforms of LLN Robot and Jotform for LLN Proficiency and Digital Literacy test respectively.

Other

Applicants should have basic computer and MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Power Point).

Applicants should be in possession of their personal computer (the minimum configuration should be Intel Core i3 (sixth generation or newer) or equivalent. Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Professional x64, Memory: 4 GB RAM, Storage: 120 GB internal storage).
